Anyone with Administrator, Manage Server, Manage Channels or Manage Webhooks in your server already has the full dashboard. Dashboard access is for everyone else: moderators who should read logs, or a helper who should manage ignore lists, without getting Discord permissions they do not need.

Give someone access

1

Open Dashboard Access

On the dashboard, open your server and go to Settings → Dashboard Access.
2

Choose who

Under Give someone access, pick A role or One person. Search for the role, or type a member’s name or paste their user ID.
3

Choose what they can do

Pick a preset, or pick Custom and tick individual permissions.
4

Press Give access

Access starts immediately.
If you cannot find the person in the member list, press Create an invite link instead. The link works once and expires after seven days. The person opens it, signs in with Discord and presses Accept. They must already be a member of the server. You can have up to five unused links at a time.

Presets

A grant that uses a preset picks up new features added to that preset later. A Custom grant stays exactly as you set it. The individual permissions for a custom grant are: View logs, View log history, Export logs, View configuration, Manage log channels, Manage log settings, Manage tags, Manage server settings and View analytics.

Limits

A role counts once, however many members have it.

Rules

  • Only people who manage the server in Discord can give, change or revoke access.
  • Access never unlocks a paid feature. Log history and export still depend on the server’s plan.
  • Managing access, creating API tokens, resetting the server and billing can never be shared.
  • If you remove the role from a member in Discord, their access goes within about 30 seconds. If they leave the server, it goes too.
  • Every change is recorded as a Dashboard Access Changed log in your Quark Events channel.

Change or revoke access

The table under Dashboard Access lists everyone with access. Use Change permissions or Revoke on their row.

What it looks like for them

A shared server appears under Shared with you on their dashboard. If their access includes configuration, it opens the dashboard. Otherwise it opens the log viewer. Pages they can see but not change are marked read-only.
