Every log type is available on every plan, and each one can be switched on or off individually on the dashboard under Logging → Individual Log Config.

Reading the table

  • ID is the number the API and the log viewer’s filters use for the log type.
  • Name on the dashboard is what the dashboard and the log viewer call it. Title in Discord is the heading on the log message itself. The two often differ, for example “Member Join” and “User Joined”. Channel logs put the kind of channel first, as in “Text Channel Created”.
  • Category decides which channel the log goes to. See how logs are routed.
  • Needs View Audit Log means the log is built from Discord’s audit log. Without the View Audit Log permission it is never sent. See permissions.
  • Always logged for bots means the log is sent even when a bot did it or it happened to a bot. Other types follow the bot rules.

All log types

Quark has 113 log types in 9 categories.
Older logs end their footer with the log type ID after the user ID. Newer logs show only ID: followed by the ID.
